Boulder Opal we ethically source our opals from the Outback town of Quilpie, Queensland.
Using the bent wood technique made from a beloved Oak located in McCauley Park, Savannah GA named ‘Twister’ also named ‘Betty White’. The oak reached the end of its life cycle in 2023. Blumin Opals was fortunate to obtain some of the oak to continue its legacy in our jewelry.
