Using the bent wood technique with Magnolia from a tree that lived in Forsyth park Savannah Georgia. The Magnolia Tree reached the end of its life-cycle. We were fortunate to buy some of the wood and preserve it. Many movies were filmed in Forsyth Park including Forest Gump. This ring is another beautiful part of Savannah's history. Repurpose Savannah, a nonprofit that carefully preserves buildings and trees histories.
Our family, with over forty years in the opal business, was inspired by Savannah's stunning architecture and beautiful trees, leading us to discover Re-purpose Savannah.
